The new forest has some of the lowest available housing of any district council. Last year for example, the entire housing allocation for the new forest available to council tenants in their search for new forest accommodation was less than 70 properties in total. Why? Primarily this is because the new forest district council area is mainly covered by protected forest and greenbelt land. This leaves only very small areas of land available to build upon and the demand for this land is unrivalled even by major cities, which at least, can build upwards in their quest for housing. To further exacerbate the housing shortage, the new forest is a very popular tourist destination that fuels private investors into buying the available housing for the purpose of short term letting on a buy-to-let basis. This is especially true during the summer months and especially true for the typical new forest cottages which are highly sought after by both investors and holiday makers alike and these cottages represent a huge proportion of the overall availability of new forest accommodation.Of course nobody would suggest that this practice should stop or be prevented in any way. Tourism is by far the most important resource that the new forest has and supports many small businesses and families alike, hence the dilemma! Can a balance be found that allows tourism to flourish at the same time as supporting our housing needs? Not if the new forest district council maintains the strict building code which is out of date taking into account our new housing needs especially as it is so much harder for first-time buyers to enter the private sector when mortgages are harder to find and even harder to afford during this recession. We all know that the council wish to retain the essence of the area by preventing unsightly developments which could have a devastating impact upon our beautiful surroundings. This being the case, somebody explain the councils recent planning consent that allowed the, unsightly and totally out of character, opening of the ‘99p store’ in Lymington high street? Ludicrous!Housing is what we need, not a garish store selling cheap junk. Double standards at work by a council full of out-of-touch bureaucrats that just don’t care.

There are times when you think that you have less chances of getting lost when you are familiar with the woods. But sometimes you might even get lost because of your companion’s faults.

I, with three companions, was hunting on the edge of a piece of woods that was about five miles square and surrounded by roads. Two of us were familiar with the territory, but the others had never hunted there.

On the northwest edge of this piece of woods there was a side hill, sloping to the east, where deer often spent the day. When these deer were disturbed, they usually headed in a northerly direction and crossed a road at the edge of the woods. Our plan was to drive this sidehill with three men while the fourth man covered the crossing. This section of the woods was about two miles long and not over a half-mile wide and was bounded on the east by a brook which flowed north at the foot of the slope. Before starting the drive, I explained the “lay of the land” to the two men who were to help me do the driving and told them to head north and not to cross any roads or brooks. The sky was over-cast but the clouds were thin enough so that the sun’s position could be seen and there was little chance that any of us would get lost.

Only two of us drivers arrived at the road where the fourth man was stationed. We waited for the missing man for a reasonable time, blowing the car horn and shooting our guns occasionally in order to give him our location in case he was lost, and then two of us drove the car around the road looking for him. He was still missing at dark and, after listening for gun signals and checking most of the houses in the vicinity, we started for home with the intention of starting an organized search in the morning. About seven miles south of there we found him sitting beside the road waiting for us.

He had crossed the brook and at least one other stream, which he must have followed for some distance before he found a place that was shallow enough to wade. He had crossed an abandoned road and another piece of woods in order to arrive at the place where we found Mm. This man evidently did not travel in circles, as so many do, but traveled in an almost straight line in the wrong direction. As soon as he became lost, soon after we started, he disregarded everything which I had told him and only chance brought him out on a main road near a house where he was able to find out where he was. This man was unharmed, but he crossed one road without knowing it and might have crossed the second if the house had not been there.

People who are hunting in strange territory should not disregard advice and information offered them by natives of the district. If you meet a local man in the woods and he tells you that north is south, you should believe him unless you have positive proof that he is wrong. Nine times out of ten, he, with his intimate knowledge of the country, will be right. Very few men will be deliberately misleading in giving directions to a stranger, but sometimes a man is lost in his own back yard and doesn’t know any more about directions than you do. Such people can usually be spotted by their manner. Any vagueness in giving directions or a reluctance in answering questions will give the idea that they are uncertain of their whereabouts and then a man should use his own judgment about believing them.

I would advice those hunters who are hunting in strange territory should not disregard advice and information offered to them by experts. These things can decrease your chances of getting lost while hunting.

Grandmother gave the hope for the Misfit that there could be someone who could love him and be care of him. He could believe in it, that he could be good. When the old lady told that he was one of her babies he began to cry. He old lady tried to stress the importance of her words but jumped like the snake and killed her with three shots in her chest.

As a kind of breaking down the soul was inside the Misfit, his emotions and feelings appeared. But such appearance could show the lack of courage so it was not a desirable thing. He killed grandmother and it was like a sign that he could stand with his emotions. He was not able to realize that he became different and cruel.

So, it is very important to see the difference between the real demeanor of the person and what he is doing. The main characters of two different stories were confused as for the facts what they had done and what they were going to do.

Reuben Bourne felt guilty because he left his friend died alone in the forest, and the Misfit thought that the only thing that could be done after his false charge was to be against the law and there was no one who could love.

According to these stories we can see that there are a lot of difficulties in our lives but we should loose courage in order to solve it. And if we left our problems developing in the forest, we could loose the sense of the life forever.

The authors show that even after such lost it is possible to find the way out and to become normal, but we should decide what we can do in order to get it: to believe in Christ, to return to the beginning or to give the chance for some one to help you. Everything is in our hands so we could do a lot if we want.

Most will agree that a garden will do wonders to one’s home. It is the reason why many have turned into an avid gardener. A well looked after garden; no matter the size will do wonders to the one’s home and will definitely create the serene and welcoming look.
Worried that your area is too small? Don’t be because size does not matter much for a beautiful garden is not determined by the size. It is all up to your creativity and effort. Time and budget is another important element that you will have to put into your garden. Take the initiative to start from scratch and you will not miss the one of the most enjoyable part which is shopping for your garden needs.
Starting it could seem a daunting task, but it is also an extremely rewarding venture when everything just starts to blossom in ways that every homeowner knows that they would.
The best way to start is to visualize the end result before you put in place your plan. You can put some potted plants under a few patio umbrellas for a start only to provide a space for the family to relax before you take on your garden mission.
The joy in seeing the progress can be quite exhilarating, to say the least. It’s best to be planned together with any major renovations so that the garden patio complements the home and does not end up looking like a mere add-on of an afterthought.
If you are working on a small area, you have the advantage of extending your budget to quality purchases such as teak furniture that is durable and create a classy look for your garden. Be it a corner garden or indoor; let your imagination run wild utilizing what ever area you have.
If there is absolutely no way you can have an outdoor garden due to space constraint, opt for an indoor garden instead; this of course requires a bit more money and you to devote extra time. A pergola as a focal point for your garden can be quite expensive so you can instead work on a Bonsai. You can scout for a perfect tree at any nursery.
You will be surprised to see the many ranges of bonsai tree available in your local nurseries from wheat farms to mountain rages. Opting for bonsai will provide you with a creative and Zen like look and feel.
Incorporating a concrete-based fish pond underneath the centerpiece would allow the garden to nurture itself and giving an added attraction to the miniature garden. There is also nothing more soothing than watching fishes swim in crystal clear water as you let the calm takes away the day’s weariness.
Have some patio furniture in place, and you have a ready made guest area for those days when you are less than inclined to invite visitors into the living room, and the conversations over a cup of tea could focus on the bonsai and the accompanying water fountain model which provides the base for the bonsai to stand on. An outdoor coffee table could not be more superfluous.
This setting is flexible in a sense that you will be able to change the tree whenever you feel like it. After all, a bonsai tree enthusiast will always be creating the beautiful bonsai tree every year.
Heaters are good investment for your garden too. Outdoor heaters for the garden will ensure that your garden will be fully utilized even on those cold evenings and best of all, you can still sit out there, enjoy the serenity and your cup of tea!

It is an obvious assumption that most, if not all teens wants to save the environment. From saving the extinct species to eliminating global warming, name all the good changes and every person will nod his or her head in agreement. The question is, are you doing an active role to make this dream a reality? Diverse environmental consciousness programs have been done to advertise the causes and effects of being negligent with the existing environmental problems.

The major environmental issue that teens should be aware of is Global Warming. Global warming is actually caused by the abnormal change of the temperature on Earth. Carbon dioxide that’s being emitted by large factories and factories contributes to the ever changing climate in the world today. These environmental problems continue to grow that it prompted some of the most influential people in the world to make significant actions to prevent major catastrophes in the future.

Former U.S. Vice President and Nobel Prize winner Al Gore came up with an Academy Award winning documentary titled “The Inconvenient Truth,” to make the public aware of the horrible effects of global warming. Major Hollywood actors and actresses are Gore’s efforts.

Denudation of the forests for modernization is something that should be considered seriously. Trees serve as a reservoir for water and once they’re cut, then expect massive floods make deadly rampages in the cities. One can only see the television and see the latest news of floods happening from different parts of the world. The message is loud and clear, something must be done!

This leaves a question to a confused teen. What should I, at this age, do to make things right? Simple. Do the right thing. The emergence of modern technology such as the Internet and mobile phones makes it easier to determine the surefire ways to help the environment. On the teen’s part, they can make their friends and classmates at school become aware of the nagging problems in the environments. Form a club, organize lectures and plan environment-friendly activities. Suggested activities would include tree planting, mountain climbing (and cleaning up the mess made by previous climbers and put up awareness signs about the importance of preserving the forests and the mountains).

The power of the Internet presents the teen a chance to make himself or herself useful by creating a website that promotes clean environment. Emails can be sent to distant friends and relatives about the environmental problems and what simple solutions can be made to prevent it. Send emails to government officials who can make significant changes in the law or join existing environmental organizations who have the same aim of saving the world from destruction.

Care for a plate of broccoli and chlorella, with a tall glass of wheat grass juice? or how about some spirulina on the side, and a little Nova Scotia Dulse for flavor, garnished with a few sprinkles of bee pollen? and hey, Green Tea, anyone? If you’re wondering what that’s all about—it’s called Green Nutrition and all of those green foods are called green superfoods because they are tightly packed with health-supporting nutrients! And while Grandma knew the goodness of greens all along, science is just beginning to discover the wonderful world of nutrition through green superfoods. Here’s a list of ingredients that come from all over the world and how they function to support health:ChlorellaThe best chlorella comes from Japan.Chlorella is a blue-green algae packed with protein. In fact, chlorella is 60% protein and also contains a good amount of beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is a pre-cursor of Vitamin A.In Japan, chlorella is harvested in cultural pools hygienically maintained which renders it free from toxins and chemical additives. Japan has developed a technology called “Cracked cell chlorella” by which the cell walls of the chlorella are broken. This enables chlorella to release nutrients into your body as soon as chlorella is ingested.Nova Scotia DulseNova Scotia Dulse is a sea vegetable, mostly cultivated in Nova Scotia, near the cold waters of the North Atlantic Ocean. It makes a good snack food but it also has medicinal properties. It has a high protein and fiber content and contains trace elements, minerals and vitamins. Barley Grass Juice PowderBarley grass juice powder contains almost a complete source of nutrition which include vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins, enzymes, chlorophyll, and phytochemicals. Clinical tests reveal that barley grass juice powder contains 11 times more calcium than cow’s milk; and 7 times more Vitamin C than 7 oranges.Wheatgrass Juice ExtractWheatgrass juice extract consists of 70% chlorophyll along with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and powerful enzymes. Chlorophyll stimulates production of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is responsible for carrying oxygen to the body. More oxygen to the body helps to improve blood sugar levels, helps to combat toxins thus purifying the blood. The organs of the body, specifically the brain and tissues, work better when more oxygen is received. The high vitamin content found in wheatgrass juice is believed to be of benefit to certain skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.Wheat Sprout PowderWheat sprouts are a rich source of chlorophyll and studies have demonstrated its potential in motivating tissue growth and in stimulating red blood cells. Wheat sprouts contain very high levels of organic phosphates and powerful flavonoids with antioxidant abilities.1-2Spirulina OrganicLike chorella, spirulina is rich in protein content. It consists of 65-71% protein. The protein in Spirulina is five times more easily digestible than meat or soy protein. Spirulina is rich in chlorophyll which, among other benefits, helps to detoxify the body and help build up the immunity of the body.Spirulina contains many trace minerals such as potassium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, manganese, selenium, iron, phosphorus. It is rich in B-complex vitamins such as pyridoxine (B6), biotin, cobalamin (B12), pantothenic acid, folic acid, inositol, niacin, riboflavin (B2), thiamine (B1), as well as tocopherol (vitamin E) and beta-cartenoids.Kola NutKola nut (Cola) grows in the tropical rainforests of Africa.Clinical studies on humans indicate that kola nuts increase attentiveness and stamina. Soy LecithinThe United States grows 50% of the world’s production of soybeans. Soybeans are known to have high protein content, with essential fatty acids, and fiber. They also contain vitamins and minerals. Lecithin contains choline, a main constituent of every cell membrane. Lecithin and choline are being studied for their role in retaining memory and cognizance. Bee PollenMajor producers of bee pollen are Argentina, China, Mexico, and Brazil.Bee pollen contains high amounts of B vitamin complex, as well as Vitamins A, C, D, E, 22 amino acids, 27 mineral salts, more than 5,000 enzymes and co-enzymes that are needed for the digestive system. It also contains rutin, a bioflavanoid needed to strengthen the capillaries.Bee pollen is usually taken because of its ability to provide stamina, to build up the immune system, and for detoxification. Olympic athletes have used bee pollen to enhance their athletic performance.Royal JellyRoyal Jelly is another product of the bees. Royal Jelly is used to feed the Queen Bee. It is rich in nutrients—B-complex vitamins, nucleic acids, amino acids, lipids, phospholipids, carbohydrates and minerals such as zinc, potassium, magnesium and calcium. It is known to be the richest individual source of pantothenic acid, which works on the nerves helping to reduce the impact of stress on the body.Barley MaltBarley Malt originates from China. It is a whole-food sweetner made from an extract of sprouted barley and contains vitamins, minerals and protein. Green Tea ExtractThe original Green Tea comes from China and other parts of the East.Green Tea is known to speed up the metabolism of the body and is thus used in weight management programs. It is known to have anti-aging properties because of its high antioxidant power. Kelp PowderKelp grows in the North Atlantic Sea, deep in the sub-tidal cold waters. Kelp powder contains chlorophyll and essential fatty acids which enhance the youthfulness of skin. It also contains protein. Epichanea AugustifoliaThis herb is native to Southern Canada and is also found in Texas.Research indicates that it has a positive effect on the immune system. It does this by stimulating white cell production.3Acerola OrganicThe Acerola plant grows in the Amazon Rainforest. The berries from this plant are known to have the highest Vitamin C content. QuercetinQuercetin is a flavonoid found in many plants. Clinical studies demonstrate that is has anti-inflammatory properties. It also is known to inhibit the production of histamines and other allergens. It is a powerful antioxidant.Suma PowderThe Suma plant is commonly found in Brazil, Peru, Ecuado and Venezuela. Suma is considered to assist in the metabolism of glucose, as well as help build up the immune and endocrine systems.Eleuthero RootEleuthero is grown in southeastern Siberia and in the peninsula of Korea. It has also adapted itself in the forests of British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and northern California. Eleuthero aids the body to combat stress. It helps to boost the immune system and also helps to add stamina.Ginkgo BilobaGinkgo biloba is among the oldest living tree species, each tree can live up to 1000 years! It grows in 2 small provinces in eastern China. Ginkgo leaves contain two powerful antioxidants—flavonoids and terpenoids. Flavonoids are believed to protect the nerves, blood vessels, especially the retina and heart muscles. Terpenoids help to improve blood circulation by vasodilation and also help to reduce blood clots. BilberryThe Bilberry plant grows wild in parts of England, Scotland, Wales, Poland, and in the northern parts of Russia. Bilberries contain high levels of anthcyanin pigments which research connects to lowered risks of cardiovascular disease and eye disease.4-6Concord GrapesThis variety of grapes originated from England and was made famous in America by Welch. It grows in the Pacific northwest USA. Concord grapes are known for their rich flavor. They contain potassium, vitamin C, flavonoids and anthocyanidins. These support healthy blood vessels. Cinnamon PowderCinnamon originally comes from Sri Lanka. As a medicine, cinnamon is used for combating the common cold. Cinnamon exhibits antimicrobial properties and has high antioxidant activity.7-8Turmeric RhizomeNinety percent of the world production of turmeric comes from India. The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin which is largely known for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. DGL LicoriceMost of the licorice production is in Greece, Turkey, and Asia. Licorice has been used to aid digestion. It is widely used as a flavoring agent, being 50 times sweeter than sugar. SteviaStevia is a member of the sunflower family and grows in South and Central Americas. Stevia is used as a natural sweetner because it has 300 times the sweetness of table sugar. It is popular in weight management programs and is known to enhance glucose tolerance levels and help to maintain normal blood pressure.9-11SpearmintSpearmint is known to be a stimulant. It is also used as a carminative and exhibits anti-spasmodic properties. A convenient way to get a blend of the world’s best green superfoods is through green superfood supplements.

Describing the Garden Route to someone who doesn’t come from the Western Cape is often difficult. Essentially it is a long stretch of the southern coast that is between the Outenique and Tsitsikamma mountains, and the Indian Ocean. It includes several scenic towns and ten nature reserves that are a must see for anyone wishing to tour the Western Cape. The word is tranquility, and everywhere you go along the Garden Route you will find yourself in a relaxing atmosphere.
If you are starting out from Cape Town, your first stop on the Garden Route should definitely be Hermanus. This is the kind of town you can stop off in for a few hours, or stay for a week. There is luxury accommodation to be found anywhere in the town, but make sure you book well in advance if you plan on being there for the Whale Festival, which generally occurs late in September. This is a brief window when there are guaranteed to be southern right whales in the bay, and the town is filled with festivities and craft markets.
If you are in a hurry, consider giving Mossel Bay a miss and head straight on to Wilderness and George. Wilderness embodies the coastal mountain town trope of the Garden Route, and there seems to be more greenery than houses. Lush, verdant forests and stunning homes sit on the edge of a silver beach that stretches for kilometers, making this a wonderful place to spend the day or a weekend.
George has grown to be one of the Western Cape Garden Route’s number one cities. It is the travel center for the Garden Route, as it was the first town on the route to have its own airport. This city is large enough to have an abundance of luxury accommodation and fine restaurants, shops and facilities, as well as beautiful beaches and a vibrant night life. It is only an hour and half’s drive away from Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, two prime Garden Route Destinations.
Knysna is home to the stunning Knysna Lagoon, the Knysna Heads beach area and the ancient Knysna forest, as well as many unique restaurants and curio shops. It is half an hour’s drive away from Plettenberg Bay, a curious mixture of rustic seaside town and a playground for the wealthy. Plettenberg Bay is home to some of the finest beaches and accommodation on the Garden Route, and is not to be missed.
On your way back, take the scenic route and visit Oudtsoorn. This town is home to a famous ostrich and crocodile farm, as well as the massive Cango Caves. You can take a tour into the stalactite-studded caves, and there are various tour options. Which one you choose depends on your bravery, because the full tour involves climbing through a foot-wide chimney to see the most stunning cave interior in Africa.
The Garden Route is a source of endless vacation destinations if you enjoy the ride, and want to see everything that the Western Cape has to offer.

Acai berry – a small berry found in the Rain forests of Amazon has captured the minds of many researches and has recently become the hottest diet around. The reason for these is its unbelievable nutrition. It contains healthy omega fats and fatty acids, several minerals and vitamins, is rich in fiber and protein and on top of that it is one of the strongest antioxidants around – stronger than blueberry and red wine. And while the research on acai berry health benefits is still on going, the tests that have been done indicate that you simply can’t afford to not include it in your diet.

Whether you want to improve your general health or to accomplish a specific task, such as losing weight for example, it seems that acai berries have some kind of benefit for everyone. I will be honest, as I discover more information about acai berries in my research I am sometimes blown away by the number of health benefits these small berries seem to posses.

The vitamins and minerals are self explanatory – providing your body with minerals and vitamins from a natural food source is always great. The fiber contained in the berries helps you cleanse your colon – which has numerous health benefits associated with it. Omega fats are good for your cardiovascular system and heart. While antioxidants are linked to a number of benefits ranging from slowing down aging process to fighting free radicals in your body and flushing toxins. Flushing toxins is actually much more significant than it may sound. It improves general health, makes you feel better, increases energy levels and even results in a small amount of weight loss.

With such an array of health benefits acai berry should truly be a part of everyone’s diet. And now you can easily add it to your diet by ordering a free trial of acai berry, and with benefits like this adding it to your diet is simply a no brainer.

I wonder if anyone has stopped to take a look at the relationship between how much time the individual average small – medium enterprise owner (or employee for that matter) places thinking about carbon emissions / footprint / global warming versus the financial future of their families in times like this.
Let’s be honest.
When your personal financial back is against the wall because of the rising costs of doing business, brought about by an economy that the government of the day struggles with daily, or your job is in peril bought about by the hardship of the financial economic fallout combined with your boss’ incompetence to actually run a good business, then why, on this earth, would you be stopping to change your life, let alone try and change the world and focus on the carbon footprint?
Don’t get me wrong, in a very, very, very small way, I, like you, no doubt, do the simple things; conserve water, recycle, and turn lights off when you don’t need them.
But, I still took over 100 plane flights last year to do business, cut down about three forests of trees for the paper we used in the office, and then to relax took my race car out to burn fuel at a rate of miles per gallon at every moment I could. In short, like many, I only thought about it when it suited me, or when I had the time to think about it.
And if this truly is how small – medium enterprise thinks then why is it that politicians continue to try and make global warming the headline when in fact all the average person is looking for is a way to buy cheaper fuel to get to their ‘maybe’ job, cover the electricity bill to stay warm, and afford that next flat screen TV (that uses a serious amount of nitrogen trifluoride, estimated to be 17,000 times as powerful as carbon dioxide, to create*) …. so they have something to do watch they sit home and save money?
What an interesting score card to keep in the coming weeks as the economy continues to shift both here and overseas. Take note of who is on the soap box and what are they trying to ’sell you.’ Because right now, I’ll put money on it that while politicians might be putting on a green face, they are really turning quiet blue with the impact of the world around them. And as a business consultant I can tell you that right now, business leaders are more interested in saving their business, than saving the planet.

Do you know anything about green iguanas? Did you know that they use their tails to sense when predators are nearby and if they lose their tails, they will grow back as if it never happened.
One of the most common reptiles found in the South and Central America is the green iguana. Several breeds can be seen in Mexico, Paraguay, Brazil and the Caribbean Islands.
It is not known for sure that the green iguana is an endangered species but it is often thought as one because hunters love this iguana attraction. Hunters love to hunt for female iguanas. Why is this the case? They are considered a delicacy for some people. What is this female iguana delicacy called? How about Bamboo Chicken.
1. Green Iguana Physical Appearance
How big do the green iguanas get? For starters, these reptiles can grow anywhere from four to six feet long although some have managed to get up to seven feet in length. The tail of the iguana is almost half of their body, taking up more than half that length.
So what does the green iguana look like exactly? Yes, these iguanas are green but they also have a dominant black stripe along their bodies. Their shade of green changes from a bright green to a grayish dull green color, hence the reason behind the name. The iguana’s skin is primarily rough because it has pointy scales along its back. They are equipped with long fingers and claws. This makes it easy for them to grasp limbs and climb to get out of the way of danger and predators.
2. The Green Iguana’s Habitat
Baby green iguanas are usually raised in a tropical rainforest setting especially where there is water, such as streams and rivers, in low altitudes. Much of the iguana’s beginning years they spend at the top of the forest, about 40 to 50 feet high from the ground.
3. Baby Green Iguana’s Adaptations
Despite the baby iguana’s claws and long fingers, there are other wonderful traits and adaptations they have. They have a strong sense of senses especially hearing, sight and smell.
Their defense mechanisms are in their tails. Their tails are sharp and will point high when they sense danger. If a predator is able to get ahold of their tail and remove it, the tail will grow back as if there was no damage whatsoever. Since the baby iguana’s skin is considered tough, scratches and cuts are able to be avoided. It is also water-resistant.
Due to its skin pigmentation, the baby green iguana can camouflage itself when it senses predators in the area. However, if this does not work and predators do find them, the babies are able to jump hurriedly from the trees to water. Remember, iguanas do live near water so they are excellent swimmers.
Among their wonderful traits, these baby iguanas are quite strong. Should they fall 40 to 50 feet from a tree to the ground, they can always come away from it unhurt.
The male iguana has what is called dewlap on the skin. What is a dewlap? It is a special flap used to attract female green iguanas. It can also be used to intimidate the predators would love to attack them. The dewlaps help the iguanas appear as if they are much bigger than they really are.
The green iguanas can keep fat under their necks and jaws for some time when times are rough and there is not much food to get.
